Not long ago we lived 2 minutes walk from this place. We have now moved to an even better place, but I still miss the old one. It was very photogenic :)

I can see why you miss this place. I am very afraid that my wife will make me move from our place which, like your place, has so many great places to photograph throughout the year, and just outside the door. It's great to have that inspiration so close by. Maybe you can show us a few more . . .

@GJC: Why does anyone want to move from Kyoto? :) We really are lucky with the natural inspiration just around the corner. Some of my earlier photos on this blog is from the same place. I will also (as soon as the weather allows) go to a big nice garden close by our new place and take some photos. We also have a castle within walking distance which I haven't been to yet. So many photos to be taken :)
