Naked city tree

I walk past this tree everyday when going to work. I dont know why but I just like it. It is too bad I did not take a shot a little earlier when the tree was full of red leaves, I'll have to do that next autumn :)

I have just become a father to the sweetest little girl ever seen! This means I will take a break from the photography and focus on my daughter and trying to get some sleep :)

@Darren: It is not as late as it seems, it gets dark very quit this time of year in Sweden. The shot is taken around 18.00. I just had to wait until not so many people was rushing by. But ye, overtime is not unusual in the gaming industry :/ Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Hey nice photos so far. It's nice to know that you're taking photos of things you like. Why not trying taking a photo of this tree at different times and seasons? that would be interesting :)

My only comment is the negative space on the lower right side, perhaps you could have picked a better angle to shoot from.

hey gnarf, you work in the games industry? cool, I live in Kyoto which is home to Nintendo so it's a gaming paradise out here...what are you working on?

@Duncan Galbraith: Im a big Nintendo fan so it would be very cool to do a visit at one of Nintendos studios in Japan. A boy can dream, right? :) Im actually planning a honeymoon trip to Japan next autumn.
Im working at Swedens largest game studio (tho it doesnt say much) for web applications and mobile phone games.

Colour blind from Tokyo, Japan

I'd love to see this with the red leaves...or the new baby green leaves this spring. If it snows where you're at maybe a snow covered picture of the same tree would be great too. You're right the tree's got a lovely shape.
